i went to victor navone site a few days back..started reading the tut aswell..but m sorry to say but it goes over my head coz i dnt know anything abt maya animation..do u know of any tutorial that start from the basics and i mean mere basics..for example someone starting to learn using pc..learns hwat a mouse n keyb n rest of the parts are for..hope u got the hint..:D ..n then they learn how to learn s/w like maya..:)

Indeed, Victor's tute is not for the newbies. First, you have to understand the fundamentals of animation. Get Animator's Survival Kit and study/read/understand it.

hav read that book...seriously...i hav.. not entirely..but used it for reference when i was doing 2d animation..
i meant that i want to know what are the tools used in maya for animation..like all those graph editors n stuff..so is there anything available using whic i get to know all that stuff
