looks good!!
u can add lot many more details. try to render it with v-ray or
brazil, u will get much better reasult!!! place it on road (BG), render
with proper reflections, it will look more realistic!!!

Thanks for the comments

I've added more cuts and front lights.

Rendered with MR now (only 10k photons final gather)..........GI has been disabled as it was crashing my system (the scene contains around 1 lakh polys)

the MR looks much better than scanline you were getting a lot of dadrk areas with the scanline... but i still dint like the shader on the rims.. you have to work on that and even those lights and you dint model a dashboard

tell us the truth, did u get ur hands on a car paint shader????!!!!

much better than before, even the render is quite cleaner than before.

the tires are very close to the body of the car. u wont be able to take a turn in ur car for sure. whats wrong with ur headlights shader, looks like wrapping paper.....

Thanks for the comments.

I've improved the headlight shader.

dolphin, I'd downloaded the tuts on Daniel Buck's site a long time back (danielbuck.net). There are some awesome ones there for car paint mats and tyres.
They've been written primarily for Max........but if u can interpret the Maya equivalent, you can get that too. (right now, I'm trying the same.............I'm very weak with Maya hypershade, which is a big headache by itself)

keep at it man, once u get the hang of the hypershade it will be a dream....

hi there prithvi..
nice one there...
did not read all the posts.. and if anyone said this earlier.. forgive me.. here are
my comments:
1) It needs a reflection map.. for a start..
2) Look at car ad pics.. .they highlight the contours and edges rather
than the whole car... specific lights for specific areas should do the
image a lot of good.. right now.. its more like a cellshaded render..
if you know what i mean..
3) some white edge at the bottom to show the shape..

just my 2 cents..
good luck..

    show some other angles too.
