after effects problem

<P>Hi,</P>
<P>I have rendered my animation in 3d max with divx compressor,, but as i take it to after effects 5.0 its shows me sm error " After effects error: retrieving frames form video stream (3). (53::34)</P>
<P>And if i import this clips to premiere its not giving output all frames r renderd but its black only i cnt c ny image........<IMG src="smileys/smiley5.gif" border="0"></P>

<P><FONT style=": #c0c0c0">if u wana composite or even add just effects its aalways advisable to render in an image sequence than one complete video. If i ever have to render to video i never compress it coz that way&nbsp;i dont have compatibility problems and get the finest quality output for post processing. I hav neva come across such a problem bt maybe after fx 5 does nt support divx videos. </FONT></P>
