I just bought a new system, AMD64, 6200 NVIDIA, 1 GB RAM, 160 GB HARD DISK. Now when I installed MAX 6.0, it is running properly but at starting point it gives an error : Mental ray can not be initialised. Also it askes for open GL or 3D graphics setting, Wht I should do ?

Check if u hav installed the graphics driver... hav u checked running any games in ur sys

i'll recommend u to use open gl as ur driver setting in max n try using the newer versions..max9 is available now
