Hellboy - photoshop

<P>Hi,</P>
<P>i am new to photoshop, so new that i still have tags on me <IMG src="smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0">&nbsp; . Sorry bad joke. Anyway, i made this character called "Hellboy" in photoshop 5.</P>
<P>Its not that great, but its my first major attempt. The only tools i used here are pen tool, paint bucket,paint brush and smudge. </P>
<P>Actually thats all the tools i'm aware of. Kindly post your views if you think its any good and if you think its bad, please advice me. I am still on a self learning process so any advice will be most valuable</P>

hello rnairk...:). its a good first serious attempt of yours. some issues are there regarding lighting and shadows and form. things are a bit flat. the jaket is revieving light, but that light is not effecting any other area. but thats okay, with time ull learn stuff, if u keep at it seriously. we all learn with time. just observe things as much as u can...:). all the best with your future work.
