Fan Blades animation

Can any guy share how to animate a Fan, or  aplanet or the clock arms or a pendulum what ever which has a continued animation in a walk through.It should be looped i mean.I tried it in max but giving the keys does not give a smooth revolment.

make sure in the curve editor the animation keys are linear..select the rotation axis go to the controller/outof range types (for fan rotation and planet rotation use constant click the linear button) for pendulum swing use the loop button.<br><br><img src="smileys/smiley9.gif" border="0"><img src="smileys/smiley9.gif" border="0"><img src="smileys/smiley9.gif" border="0"><img src="smileys/smiley9.gif" border="0"><img src="smileys/smiley9.gif" border="0"><br><br><br>
