nice work dude, its close to real, yet needs some refinement.

what i feel is though there are lots of light, the room is not as bright as the number of light counts, but i like the feel of it.

nice ies, any idea of sharing ?

hi

nice, cool and calm composition........... one doubt the lites abv the sofa n dinning table seems to be off but there is lot of ambince of lite under it ........... i think its bit making the pic dulll.........although it may be not the case but thgt to share wid u so did it

else shud say KOOL WORK.......... deserves all credit for the f9 work

Dinesh
16-12-2005, 01:16 PM

i really like the textures u have used , overall composition is looking great,

but u have to work on light sources and shadows, and yes on the background too, these things are really making it CG,

that is why everyone is saying it is close to real, but it is not real....

u should try to make it real....

u can also go through a book called Digital Lighting and Rendering, this will help u a lot ...

cheers.

Lighting amazing

18-12-2005, 09:23 PM

In night1.jpg the triangular shadow shape by the cuppord (screen left) is distracting. also might want to checkout the squarish one behind the statue in the same image.the image outside the window has already been commented on. the dining table and the small table between the sofas looks like it is being lite by the hanging lamps, there is a slight burn out on top of both the tables and the light drop offs towards the chairs and the sofas but there isn't any indication of them being on.nice render anyways. i feel it would be more interesting if u light the room with candles on the table and the lamps hanging from the ceiling.

Dinesh
19-12-2005, 03:32 PM

i am agree with godpart2 , what actually he means is the source of light, which is missing in the room , there has to be some source of light , otherwise it will all look fake....

mushir, that's what i was trying to explain u earlier also....

mushir_q

ok fine, u guys r actually right, very soon i'll post some new images of the same render, now a days i m very busy so cant do early.

hey great job yaar keep it up...just have a few suggestions to make

1. the windows and the book closets.......should be having glass on them and if they do they need to be reflecting....
2. the chairs in night 1 should be getting some kind of shadow from the dinning table
3.the plates on the dinning table and some parts of ur furniture are over exposed with values of 255,255,255
4.the
carpet looks as if its floating as it does not have any contact
shadow...which would make a huge diff and also i dont know if u used a
bump map for the carpet..just to define the texture a lil bit more..
5. in night 2 the chair in the front has 0 black values on the shadow area on the carpet

looks really nice well done.....
