chris: firstly its a massive 26MB file. try compressing it using winRAR.
rapidshare offers a limited speed(i get around 1.2KB/s on a 512 conn.) and unstable connection, plus it doesnt support download accelerators.
as andy pointed it out try <A href="http://www.4shared.com" target="_blank">www.4shared.com</A>
i hope this will allow more tantrics to download and see the animation.

Thanks a lot dudes.
I am more of a robot fan and esecially transformers type robots are my favorite.
The difficult part of these transformers are finding out how to change from a car to robot, which will be the hands, legs, head etc and also how will the robot or car look when it transforms. These kind of transforming robots are interesting to work with. I have more of these robots and will show it soon after its comlpeted. Lets hope it turns out to be good.

kudos! i love mecha too... 
 
things i liked - very good use with sound, camera shake, clean subtle fx, nice timing with the edits... 
 
maybe you could try wide and low angled shots....esp..with the
close-ups just to get it look more menacing and larger than life... 
 
btw - <a href="http://www.themichaelsmith.com/%20%20" target="_blank">michael smith</a> is a real freak at this....just incase you if you missed it which i highly doubt... :) 
 
how about some live-action based mecha stuff? go on....

hi Chtistopher,
You done the camera tracking very well.
but, check the camera motion after he kept his hand on land. there is small jerk is there! and his fingers are penetrating the road!!

Well pixelsmith77 you caught me right. I had lots of problems with the hand landing animation. I?ll try being more careful and avoid such mistakes.

Thanks andy_maxman for that excellent michael smith link. I have seen the Citroen dancing transformer commercial but didn?t know it was by him. Actually I got my robot transforming inspiration from this clip

And Soulrobot, I used Photoshop, Maya, After effects and premier

Actually Cybernators is the title of my story and has many robots. This is the only robot that transforms besides the rest. I made 3 clips of cybernators. The first clip was done in 3dsmax. It is a novice work and it was about 2 robots fighting each other. Then I made the second clip in Maya. It?s actually a small trailer where the two robots upgrade themselves and become more powerful and some more robots are added here. And the third clip is the transforming one. I?ll upload the previous clips soon.

OK robot fans,
our dream is about to come true.
Finally, what we always wanted to see, 
The live action transformer movie is comming out soon.
I am a die hard transformers fan and always wanted to know how would a transformer film be like?
I can't wait to see this movie. Well lets hope this movie rocks.

ive only just started learning to use 3dsmax. and i keep hoping that
one day i would also be able to make some mechas!! wow.. the whole
transformation sequence was mindblowing... great work :)

 good concept, good environvenment ,deserve appreciation for the camera movements.
 
 
 somebody said about the jerk in the end but i can understand it was to show the impact of leg straighting.
 
 Nice to hear that u r comfortable in both Max and Maya? have u done most of the thing by urself or get some refference. also put some stills .Also your Paperworks.
 
 why dont't u put some dust and a wave effect when the robot touches the ground .

Yeah that jerk was for showing the impact of leg. The Robot is HEAVY<IMG src="smileys/smiley36.gif" border="0">
I got ideas from many movies and japanese animations. And combined them to create something new and different. All the 3d, compositing, video & sound editing work was done entirely by me.
Well It landed on metal surface so I didnt find it necessary to put dust. But its a good idea<IMG src="smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0">
Yeah its a complete rigged robot. Which means It doesnt onlt transform but it can dance too.

This TOTALLY ROCKS MAN!!! <img src="smileys/smiley32.gif" border="0"><img src="smileys/smiley32.gif" border="0"><img src="smileys/smiley32.gif" border="0"><img src="smileys/smiley32.gif" border="0"><img src="smileys/smiley32.gif" border="0"> Cud hav played with the texturing and lighting a bit though. But, it's fantastic. The sound effects are awesome. It wud have been a bit more interesting if the ground made a small crack while Morpher 101 stepped on.
