somewhere there...her posture and the face outline does resemble keira.... but u need to work a lllllot more before that... this is just the skeleton...u need to keep refining with the details.... like the eyes..lips...nose..everything needs to be more defined... why have u given so much grain on the lips ?...

hope u 'll be working more on it.... do keep updating...and finish this one...its coming out good dude... all the best

Pls dont get me wrong....my suggestion is...use more pencil..dont spend much time on software right now...make the base stronger first..dont bother about software tools..just use more traditional medias..it will help u a lot for digital work. hope this helps...

Hi luvesammy, not a bad start at all.

I'm not disagreeing with shyamshriram about using pencil, however its not the pencil part which is gone wrong but the painting and use of colour.

in photoshop there are many useful tools to help blend in the colours for realistic results. The smudge tool for example is a perfect tool when used with very low settings.

About your painting------

Places like the neck and chest appear flat. They need work on. Also the hair needs a lot of work.

FOR THE HAIR-------

in photoshop select a very small brush and just start drawing lines from the top of the head to the bottom in the direction that the hair will fall. Use a darker colour for the base and shadows and a lighter one for the highlights.

Do not reduce the opacity of the paint or layer to the extent where the paint becomes see-thru, for example some strands of hair falling on her face seem to have some transparence.

The ear needs work on as well.

I'm putting some links here which will help you to digitally paint
