<P>hey guys there 1 prob i m suffering from.</P>
<P>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; i import a ref image as image plane in side view &amp; front view but i want it to go behind the grid. usually when i give -1 value in&nbsp;X axis and Z axis relatively it used to happen. but i m trying it from 2 days this time. i m using maya 6.5. </P>
<P>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; i don't want to use the ref as a texture file. 'coz when i go in wireframe view the texture also disappears.</P>
<P>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; plz help me wat all the attributes i can try?</P>

Hi,<br>
&nbsp;This is a known bug in Maya 6.5/7.0. Try doing this:<br>
&nbsp;Open up "maya.env" located under C:Documents and
SettingsUserMy Documentsmayax.x in notepad and add the following
line<br>
<br>
&nbsp;
MAYA_NON_POWER_TWO_OFF = 1<br>

Hi,<br>
&nbsp;x.x is the version of maya installed. 6.0, 6.5 etc....You will have a folder with the version <br>

Can you tell me guys why ppl like to use Maya for character and don't like 3ds Max? is Maya easy in character animation then Max?<IMG src="smileys/smiley25.gif" border="0">
