Here are some poses i did today to study line of action.

Wow...i didnt expect this response ...Thanks for the motivation people ...I'd like to see all of you post your "line of action" poses too here ...it would help me a great deal...now ...

VishyP : Thanks !! :D ... but i wish you'd used the words doodles instead of scribbles .
Onto the new stuff ...well...there is much more that i did after this ...havent gotten it scanned yet and as always ...all your comments ,wether positive or negative  are really valuble to me ...please feel free to post anything.

Look its amazing; only one critic?you are getting confused as to keep it in blocks or cylindrical?<?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><O:P></O:P>
The trick is that you only concentrate on gesture, while doing gesture practice, n along with it the line of action. If you have too many things in mind then you will not have the flow?<O:P></O:P>
The key is that you time yourself for ?gesture? practice or if concentrating on line of action?post some more! Would love to see them?.<O:P></O:P><edited><editID>gulluanime</editID><editDate>38672.9492013889</editDate></edited>

If you are concentrating on line of action; then concentrate on ?action? as well! i.e what the character is doing. In the initial stages try going out n sketching people in the station, in the caf? n so on; making it a slow study process of different ?actions??<?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>
                 Now for handling gesture; you are supposed to catch the overall gesture, feel or mood of the character. But it should always be done in rapid. In animation if you can get the essence of the character, then you are on the right track?<o:p></o:p>

your work can really be  handy for people studing animation

nice work ravindranak.... good observations... <IMG src="smileys/smiley32.gif" border="0">
    But some figures( very few...<IMG src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0">) are loosing balance ( i mean the centre of mass )...   For example : in the post which has the Hand carrying a small figure...  the right-most figure looks imbalanced due to the line of the right leg...
   just my observation... hope im not wrong <IMG src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0">...
                   Keep Up the work dude !

great work on the studies. I only wish you would put in just a few poses into one image....it actually was getting a lil strenuous for the eye to concentrate on so many....
