Hey Guys.. its something that has got me in a trouble a lot.
After working up in Mixer of character studio, when i compute mixdown and copy it to the biped, the position of the biped shifts on the scene and i have to re position the biped again.
Can u please tell me how to avoid this ??
Secondly, what does the greyed out mixdown track shows ?? When i click on it, it gets grayed out and the position of the biped shifts.
I have got a Dummy as the parent of the Com of the biped so as to position it in such cases. Is that creating the trouble ?
If you know some tutorials for a better use of Mixer, that'll be really helpful too.
Thanx..

hi abhishek

i have also faced This problem. May b what you can do is just try to give set key for bip bone at 0 th frame. give all set keys like virtical horizontal and rotation also. then make a *.bip file and try to uplod in the mixer. it works for me. let c for you. all the best.

Hey Poly.. it seems to work out most of the times.. The other way i came with was to set the offset biped value for all the axis to zero and then link it to the biped.

2) Rather than making the dummy as the parent, select the COM and go to Character>Create Character.... and then set the position of the biped with the Character Icon.. its pretty handy.. try it out....

Lets make the best use of tools provided....lol...
