softimage xsi seems to be receiving quite a bit of attention in India. i was wondering if there are any Indian studios using it in their production pipelines.

xsi in crest ? nopes...as far as i know...its been around more than 2.5 years...they had some projects before in xsi...but it in early 2006....
but now as u may or may not be aware....autodesk has bought xsi...

the reason i asked this is being a long time 3ds max user i get a bad feeling that max is going to be killed quietly or get pushed into arch viz exclusive community.

i too have tht feeling pal..
other than arch and gaming,maya is preferred over it..
but with arch design version coming out,it feels they going tht way:(
