Hi all,
I'm submitting my final designs....
Plz check out the designs as well as the attitude suggestions.
Some design thoughts.
I was planning to make the mascot an animal so that it'll definitely add a beautiful contrast.
Since he is a rat, he's not an alien face.....he's very familiar to all of us and that makes the
character more appealing i think.
Creating a beautiful contrast was another thing i was looking at.
Since this's an art community, any art stuffs with a combination with our little guy can
create great drama.
Like he playing with the laptop, painting in traditional manner (etc)...

Like i said before in my previous character development submissions, strong silhouette is
necessary for any character...I guess i succeeded in making that happen.
Completely spherical eyes can make the communication with the audience easier and
stronger. Especially the concentric looks in his eyes including the eyeball,the cornea and the
lens will definitely won't shift our concentration.
The tail is another strong element. Since it's very sleek and highly flexible, it adds more
possibility to add nice overlapping ( so as the animatable ears too)
movements.
These were some of the thoughts i was having wen i sat down to design this guy.....
