i haven't seen the 1951 film and i don't intend to see it after seeing the 2008 trailer...

remakes always sucks... they did it with war of the worlds, reddragon etc.
1st one was a classic.. its story at the time of cold war was seasonal,, dont think it will click this era..

it may suck...but i wont like to be prejudice..and considering the era we are in and from the trailer, it looks quite good...

lets wait for December and then either laud it or bury it....

if so far many remakes fail, there is no reason to believe future remakes will also fail....
