im really upset regarding the job openings for fresher animators. is animation really booming in india ? i ve read some articles about companies firing even experienced people and also freshers have no openings this time.. is it true ?? do companies willing to recruit freshers ? i hope the industry people here in this community ll help me out in getting relieved from this issue. this s not a single person's doubt, almost all the freshers has this doubt.. kindly help us... thanks in advance..

there are no much openings and the industry is in bad state. if you have anyother industry exp or if ur background is of other industry get in that.

Friends i need your help now for this above topic "fresher animators future ?????????" because i am joining a Animation Course this month, and spending a huge amount on this course too. so please tell me the future for "ANIMATORS" . I need to build me Career in Animation and Visual Effects.

right now animation industry is not booming it's a hype made by all the institutes and inocent people follows as they have no idea about the industry.forget about the newcomer it is hard for even experinced person to either retain their job or find better one.Beware of those false claims made by so called industry experts as they are still claiming those things which were based on last 6-7 years estimates and not valid under present circumstances.Institues are making huge money b'coz of this.so think twice before joining and if you don't belive me read this thread:http://forum.cgarena.com/viewtopic.php?t=5226

So tell me friends what can i do now? can i get into Animation field or not ? Because i had a Dream to build my career in Animation and Visual Effects.... but after hearing all this i am really scared to get into Animation, and in another week or so i was joining a course in Animation and Visual Effects and spending a huge amount on that.

So tell me Friends what to do now, Forget Animation? Forget my Dreams?

still we frshers are in confused state only reg this job openings. only industry ppl
knows the exact things goin on in the field and no use discussin among us frshers. will this situation change soon ?

I would say go follow your dreams but atleast don't spend your hard earned money here in india as it will leads to nowhere.no insititute is good enough for animation related skills faculties themselves don't know anything though they say they have 5-6 years of experience.
they teach you software and not skill.just think twice don't go by the wave.

Thanks for the Replies yogeshsherman and Friends, yogeshsherman so has u written in your topic it clearly states that spending money on indian institutes is waste of money :confused: but i am not that RICH to Study in abroad too :confused: so i need to do my course here in India [BANGALORE] Only :o And my budget is within 1 to 2 lacks thats it :(
So Please Please Help me & Guide Me in this and i will be Really Really Thank Full for the Help !!

friend i feel sorry for u..

am also doin diploma in 3D animation and visual effects. believe me this diplomo is a total crap. waste of money. better do maya alone. it ll be relatively half the cost of diploma. but i dunno about the industry now.. as per most of the forum threads the industry is goin down. but i do strongly believe i ll get a position for myself in the field cos am workin hard towards it. so ill surely get the result i hope. all the best for u too.. I want to share my condition also...
m also facing same problem since a 6 months.all stuiods havng same attitude abt freshers.dunno y...bt all of thm sayng tht thers no reqrmnt for freshers...they all need experice ppl.
so wht wil happnd wid freshers?wht wil they do??
N the most imp thng is sum studios r closed ther production coz of boom of animation.
sother is no job opngs for us...sad abt this animation industri.
