Category Set 01 - Participate Online
1. 3D Digital Illustration
This is a 2 months online open contest for students and professionals. You have to create a 3D Digital Illustration on the theme topic of "Love". This contest aims towards learning through sharing so you have to start your thread in the contest section [LINK] and post all your Work-in-Progress as you work on your concept and entry. Dealine - 30th April
Arttwar is a 2 months students team contest right now in its 4th edition. The team of students studying at any of the institutes currently will have to form up a team of no more than 3 students and have to prepare a digital illustration on the theme of "Game Over". This contest is targeted towards learning through sharing online and the teams will have to keep sharing their Work-in-Progress regularly in their own threads in the contest section. Deadline - 30th April

4. Digital Painting/Concept Art
You can upload a MAXIMUM of 10 artworks.
The images should not be bigger than 2048px wide

The archive can be a maximum of 5 MB
5. Character Model
Upload 1 beauty render and 1 wireframe render of a Character. You can submit a maximum of 5 Characters together in a rar/zip file.
It can be a personal or professional work.
You can submit grey OR textured renders.
The images should not be bigger than 2048px wide
Compress your images in ZIP or RAR format, Click on Proceed to Entry Form button and upload them after you fill in ALL the information.
Name your ZIP or RAR file in following format - [05_cm_yourname]
The archive can be a maximum of 5 MB
6. Game Model
Upload 1 beauty render and 1 wireframe render of a Game Model. You can submit a maximum of 5 Models together in a rar/zip file.
It can be a personal or professional work.
You can submit grey OR textured renders.
The images should not be bigger than 2048px wide

7. Architectural Viz
The renders can be exterior or interior. You can upload a maximum of 5 renders. Submit 1 grey render per entry too. Name your ZIP or RAR file in following format - [07_av_yourname]. The archive can be a maximum of 5 MB
8. Animation
Compile a video of best of your animation clips of not more than 60 seconds. Upload it on you tube and post the link of it in the form in the next page. It could be a personal or professional work.
Category Set 03 - Send DVD's
9. Showreel CG/VFX - Individual
We are not only looking for good artworks but also a good compilation and presentation of your skills. The showreel could be of any skill of Animation, Visual Effects or Game Art in Quicktime format.
10. Live Action/VFX Short Film
Live action short film of maximum 20 minutes of duration by a Team or Individual.
11. Animation Short Film – Student
Short film of Individual or Team of Students. It should have been created while studying at a Institute/School or within 6 months of it.
12. Animated TVC/Short Film – Studio/Professional
Animation Short Film/TV Commercial/Channel Montage/Animation Promos of maximum 20 minutes of duration by a Team or Individual Professional or a Studio.
13. Experimental Animation Short Film
Submit Animation Shorts done in assorted methods like sand, cutout animation etc.
14. VFX in TVC
The Studios should download and fill up the PDF form & send it to us along with the DVD of the TV Commercials.
15. VFX in Feature Film
The Studios should download and fill up the PDF form & send it to us along with the DVD of the compliation of the best of the VFX Shots of the film done by the studio. Send 1 entry per DVD.
Category Set 04 - To be decided by Jury & CGTantra
16. CGTantrik of the Year
This category is awarded to the individual who has been active on CGTantra Forums and has contributed to the community by helping others by giving healthy critics and feedbacks. The CGTantra member is chosen by the CGTantra Moderators, Team and Administrators.
